Individuals can give a designated gift for specific causes in the ministry of the church provided it has been identified in the annual budget. The designated gift must be approved by the board prior to receiving the gift. The funds will be disbursed with consideration to existing line items in the congregation approved budget and any CRA rulings. At the discretion of the board any undisbursed designated gifts can be reallocated to the unrestricted fund.
